Identity and sexuality have always been at the forefront of my art practice. As science and technology has progressed, so has identity. My recent investigations have shifted to looking at how the body has changed with technology through mediated presence. My work is a metaphor for the loss of connection I have experienced through augmented human interaction and nature. Through the exploration of this connect/disconnect I hope to address these issues to a broader audience in a form of social critique, specifically related to mankind’s integration of the synthetic into natural.
